While I do not use digital photography by choice (see Photography), I make total use of digital technology for audio and video purposes.

From the late nineties (as soon as the technology was made available), I invested in digital equipment and digital video and audio editing systems. At the time, the step into video (a natural progression after using a 16 mm movie camera in the U.S.) was regarded as an innovation in reportage in my field.

Shooting and editing videos has been, and continues to be, a part of my work. I use video as a visual translation of technical articles profiling work sites or machinery, or to create instructional documentation or short documentaries (for example, the video on the demolition of La Scala was included in a program on Italian theatres broadcast by the German television network ZDF 3). The videos appearing on the site (shortened to make them more easily accessible online) are to be considered just an example of the over sixty I have produced.
